The Posiflex Magmatic MR-2106 is a standalone magnetic stripe card reader housed in a heavy-duty die-cast enclosure built for constant swiping in busy retail and hospitality environments. It reads all three tracks of ISO 7811-compliant magnetic cards with bi-directional swipe support, so cashiers don't need to worry about swipe direction. It connects via USB (selectable between HID and virtual COM modes), RS-232 serial, or PS/2, and is backed by Posiflex's OPOS and JavaPOS drivers for straightforward POS software integration.
